The Beatles: 10 Best Solo Songs

6. It Don’t Come Easy – Ringo Starr

Wahey! Ringo makes the list!

Look, we all know Ringo’s not the best in The Beatles, he is the drummer after all, but you wouldn’t know that judging solely from this groovy 1971 hit. Reaching high in both the UK and US charts, It Don’t Come Easy has a distinctive Ringo-Yellow Submarine-Beatles vibe about it.

The song had help from Harrison, who provides the guitar, although it is Stephen Stills’ piano that shines. Super fun and nearly annoyingly catchy, this is one that Ringo can be proud of.

Good luck getting it out of your head, by the way.
