When bae drops the hint that she likes something, the rare good husband will make a mental note and actually buy it for her.
So, when one woman mentioned that she likes the adorable and sleepy Pokémon Snorlax, her husband went online and bought three Snorlax stuffed animals to display in their home.
Little did he know, they were freakin’ huge:
So, he put the plushies on sale on Carousell, an online marketplace similar to eBay. The asking price? $250.
The man in question, who is based in Singapore, used some high-stakes tactics to get his Snorlaxes sold.
First, he explained the mix-up:
My wife told me she likes Snorlax cause they look cute and dumb….Thought I could give her a surprise and buy her a few plushies…
I bought 3 online and didnt care much about the price since Pokemon was so pop and it was only normal their plushies cost an arm and leg…. wtf… I didnt know I carted life sized SNORLAXES instead of the CUTE AND MINI ONES that would f***ing fit on our computer table/wall shelves….
Then, he launched into describing his wife’s threat to move out and divorce him if he doesn’t sell them (which we can only hope is an exaggeration).
Now she’s f***ing pissed off with me and is threatening to move back to her mom’s home….Please please….. guys… buy them away before she divorces me…
Luckily, he posted an update that he was able to sell the Snorlaxes.
“Hey guys, Snorlax has been sold…thanks everyone!” he wrote on Carousell.
We hope the Snorlaxes are now in a happy home where they can play video games and drink in peace — and maybe be the subjects of a live-action Pokémon Go.
